Three-time world champion (2003, 2007 & 2009) Brigitte Yague of Spain returns to the Games after participating in Athens but failing to make the Beijing roster. She comes in as the No. 3 seed and will battle Carolena Carstens of Panama, who earned an invitational spot from the IOC.
