High Winds damage in Chiriqui, Panama

HIGH WINDS and heavy rain caused heavy damage to 82 homes in Chiriqui on Monday, July 14, The roofs of 23 houses were totally torn away and multiple vehicles were damaged by falling trees. says the National Civil Protection System (SINAPROC).Classes have been at the Divalá Polytechnic Institute.
The most affected communities that are Divalá and Nuevo México de Alanje in the Baru district.
An elderly woman of 65 and a pregnant woman 19  were transferred to the regional hospital in David.
SINAPROC staff are working on removing fallen trees trees and damage assessments and bottled water will get bottled water canned goods, clothes for children and adults, blankets, books and school supplies are being delivered to those affected by the storm reports La Prensa.
